The Best Recipe to Help You Poop (Yes, Really)

Updated: Aug 29, 2025

If you’ve been feeling… a little backed up 💩, you’re not alone. Constipation happens to just about everyone at some point. The good news? There are plenty of simple, healthy ways to get things moving again.

1️⃣ Load Up on Fiber🥗

Fiber adds bulk to your stool, making it easier to pass. Foods I love include:

  • Oats, quinoa, brown rice

  • Beans and lentils

  • Berries, pears, apples (skin on!)

  • Leafy greens and broccoli

💡 Pro tip: Increase fiber slowly to avoid gas and bloating.

READ BELOW FOR MY FAVORITE RECIPE TO RELIEVE CONSTIPATION!!

2️⃣ Drink More Water💧

Dehydration can make stool dry and hard, so make sure you stay hydrated!

3️⃣ Move Your Body🏃‍♀️💪

Regular physical activity helps stimulate bowel movements. Even a 20–30 minute walk can make a difference.

4️⃣ Don’t Ignore the Urge🚽

When you feel the urge to go, don’t put it off. Waiting too long can make stool harder and more difficult to pass.

💡 Pro tip: Placing your feet on a small stool (like a Squatty Potty) can help straighten your colon and make going easier.

5️⃣ Watch Out for Constipating Foods🍔

Some foods can slow you down, like:

  • Processed foods

  • Fried or greasy foods

  • Excessive dairy (especially cheese)

🥄📖BEST RECIPE FOR CONSTIPATION 🥄📖

Mix together:

  • 1 cup applesauce

  • I cup coarse unprocessed bran flakes (wheat)

  • 3/4 cup prune juice

This mixture will be of a pasty consistency. Refrigerate in a covered container between uses.

  • HOW OFTEN DO I EAT THE SPECIAL RECIPE?

Take 2 tablespoons of mixture every day with a glass of water. Always take one large glass of water with mixture.

*make sure you check with your doctor before trying to make sure it is right for you.

Let me know what works for you in the comments, and I hope this is helpful!

Great article. Viral moments spread faster than ever, and many people discover interesting ideas through short-form videos. An instagram reel downloader can be helpful for personal organization when someone wants to revisit content later without searching through hundreds of posts.

I also can’t help but draw a strange but interesting parallel to a game like Ragdoll Hit, where movement and physical forces behave in exaggerated but predictable systems. In that game, small inputs can lead to big shifts in motion, and in a similar way, small dietary changes like adding fiber or adjusting meals can gradually influence how the body regulates itself. The comparison is imperfect, but it helps me visualize the idea of internal “systems” responding to incremental changes.
